Our Penthouse suite (9060) was fine but a little dated.

Twice light fittings fell out of the ceiling and the shower flooded the cabin.

The carpets were stained (pointed out by an officer attending during the clean up after the flood).

The butler Matthew and his assistant Aldin were both excellent.

The officers who came to each incident were charming.

The food is outstanding and staff in the Queens Grill are excellent & most helpful (Osman Pinaroglu, Khanyi, Suresh Babu and Michael).

Unfortunately there were issues with a couple who got married on the ship and their two young children.

Apparently, there were problems with their wedding ceremony resulting in them being upgraded to Queens Grill.

The youngest child was in a pram and breast fed at the dining table on full view of all the nearby diners.

the parents had attitude.

The restaurant is not a nursery.

We were unable to reach our dining table due to the pram and were relocated for an evening which upset all our lovely fellow diners nearby, who were going to comment to Cunard when they returned home.

Other friends from Canada in another part of the Queens Grill had a similar issue with a child being breast fed and also had to be moved.

This really is unacceptable, not the Cunard that we have known very well for many years and will make us seriously consider whether or not to book any further cruises with Cunard.

The lighting in the Queens Grill is bright during the day but turned down very low at night.

We are in Queens Grill on Queen Anne later this year and hope not to have a similar experience.

The entertainment was dire.

We discussed this with the Entertainment manager who was totally disinterested.

Ports of call were very interesting and trips well organised.

The jazz band in the Chart Room was brilliant.

We wonder if other passengers have had similar experiences in the restaurant.

It appears that Cunard are discounting cruises at the last minute.

Some passengers did not adhere to the dress code after 6pm.

We are now considering looking at smaller more exclusive cruise companies to avoid the riff raff.

These are very expensive holidays for Butlins at sea
