This was our 1st cruise with Cunard and we were expecting great things, as we were told that she was much more formal than P&O.
QM2 did not disappoint us.
She left Southampton and she battled with up to Force 10 gales most of the way over to NY and she won spectacularly, slicing through the water with ease, as she was built for these conditions.
The Commodore was amazing apart from being very charming and extremely polite, we thought he was almost a one man band, as he was always the one who communicated with us if anything was not quite right and he at 12 noon always didn’the broadcast to the ship informing us of every detail to do with our voyage, the Best Captain/Commodore we have ever encountered.
Although there still many Wingers on the cruise, unfortunately mainly Brits! we could not fault any aspect of the Cruise, the staff were very polite, friendly and very efficient.
Will definitely travel with Cunard again.
