Unfortunately due to adverse weather conditions we didn’t get into Zebrugge so no trip to Brugge.
Bit of a shame but to have missed Amsterdam would have been terrible.
What a wonderful place to see in the New Yea.
Fireworks, they go off the length and breath of the city.
We had a personal display close into the ship which went on for about 20 minutes but we had to return to the warmth of the ship long before the city fireworks had finished so we could see in the New Year British time.
All this ended an evening of gala dining in the main restaurant and an excellent show in the theatre.
This cruise we decided to have an inside cabin, we felt the usual balcony wouldn’t get much use and how right we were as the weather both out and back was horrendous, the captain did a wonderful job.
We have decided that inside cabins are not for us! My husband is diabetic and our thanks go to the kitchen staff probably pastry department for his delicious desserts.
We really enjoyed the cruise and Brugge an excuse for another cruise!
