I am a cruise expert here at Bolsover Cruise Club and i have recently attended a day ship visit onboard Disney Dream.
The day started with watching many excitable families walking onboard the ship being welcomed individually by a member of staff with an announcement of there names followed by a round of applause, i thought this was such a lovely personal touch and the children seem to love it!
I was lucky enough to shown round many areas of the ship including dining venues, adult only areas, most of the kid’s clubs, pool areas, spas and the theatre.
I thought the kid’s clubs were out of this world and they really had thought of everything! I didn’t realise how many adults only areas there would be on a family cruise ship.
The main thing i picked up whilst onboard was that you don’t have to travel with a child on a Disney Cruise!
I viewed an inside, balcony and suite stateroom.
I thought a useful thing to know was that the bathrooms in the balcony cabins and above are called spilt bathrooms and the toilet and bath/shower are divided into two separate spaces, i thought this was a great idea for families sharing!
Also, all cabins have a small bath and shower above as most children likes baths, another great idea! (Adapted cabins are shower only).
Whilst onboard we ate at the buffet restaurant, the seafood station was amazing and fresh.
