This is the second time we have cruised aboard this ship.
I personally found the experience to be nothing out of the ordinary.
I have the impression that the quality of the Holland America product has been lowered.
First ship into port, anchored out and tendered to shore, only to watch a Thompson ship come in later that day to tie up alongside.
At Kotor the ship anchored a long way from the jetty.
Dirty plates and glasses from the night before left lying around.
Breakfast on the after deck spoilt by staff trying to clean the deck area.
Several day time activities now being charged for.
Food excellent especially the Tamarind and Pinnacle restaurants.
The itinerary was also excellent but these places can be visited with other cruise lines.
I have some serious doubts as to whether I will be in a hurry to sail Holland America again.
Certainly it is not worth the premium cost.
