Have just returned from a fantastic 12-day Astronomy Cruise to see the Northern Lights.
What a joy it was to have Dr.
John Mason, MBE, on board, to guide us through the night skies.
He really is the expert on the night sky and made the cruise what it was.
Right from the start on boarding the MS Trollfjord we knew we were going to enjoy the voyage.
The staff on board were really helpful and obliging and the food, mostly Norweigan food, was fantastic.
Our dream of seeing the Northern Lights came true – on three or four evenings.
Dr.
John was always around to guide us and answer any questions.
Another bonus was a Norweigan lady, Inger Carter, who was assisting Dr.
John with his lectures.
Inger made herself available for walks when we came into some of the ports.
Always very informative and interesting! We will certainly take the same trip again in the future – with Hurtigruten and Dr.
John.
