MSC Divina

I have just returned from an early Med.

cruise on the MSC Divina.

The enormous ship cannot be faulted but my impression is that MSC low prices are attracting very unsuitable cruise guests.

It was more like a floating Butlins Holiday Camp than a cruise! It was a constant scrum with pushing and shoving all the time.

In and out of elevators, and especially when going ashore, and trying to get into shuttle buses etc., and not to speak of the self-serviceCafeeria on the 14th floor where savages took over loading up their plates with far too much food and then spilling and leaving a lot of it.

(Eating all the time in the main restaurants was the only way to solve that problem).

It could help if MSC kept an eye on bus queues and theCafeeria but they do not.

Everybody is left to their own devices.

In my view the Divina is far too large with too many people on board.

To be fair I have cruised on the MSC Musica which was fine, except once, when 500 American spring-break kids completely took over all facilities out in the USA.

My recent trip certainly did not resemble an elegant cruise.

Beware.
