The Meraviglia is a lovely ship and all the information we had raised our expectations.
The ship itself is wonderful it was the service and food that fails to deliver.
The food isn’t of the high standard you expect on a cruise.
The portions are small and the menu limited.
This is the first time I have struggled in choosing a dish.
On the 1st night my wife had chicken, it came as a flat piece of grilled chicken with fries, very dry and low quality.
The restaurant staff seem to be constantly stretched and have no time to provide a personal service.
The buffet restaurant is badly designed as all the food points are along one wall which created obstructions when more than 2 people were queuing for the same food.
Service at the bars is very slow and 10 minutes to get a drink wasn’t uncommon.
The waiter service could be longer.
Overall it is a good ship let down by its service and quality of food
