My partner and I have cruised many times and this was our first time with MSC.
We were travelling with family including Grandchildren aged 22, 20 and 11.
The MSC Seaside is brand new and everything beautiful.
We had 3 balcony cabins which were adequate but small in comparison to other lines we have travelled with.
Storage very limited.
Shops and entertainment excellent.
All staff were mostly helpful and friendly.
Main Dining Room.
The table we were allocated was very small to accommodate seven people.
Food quality reasonable.
Very short staffed in most bar areas at peak times.
At one bar we waited 20 minutes without being served and this was no exception.
On one particular night, we went to the Haven bar where a lot of the entertainment takes place.
Although busy no drinks were being served as a private function was coming in later and bar staff had been instructed not to serve anyone.
Thought this was absurd as we were all paying guests.
Tried buffet breakfast twice in two weeks.
Absolutely chaotic.
Had to push in to get near food and ended up going to the main dining room for the rest of the cruise for breakfast.
Lunch on sea days the same.
56 nationalities on board.
Buffet areas (2) not big enough to accommodate 5,000 passengers.
Entertainment around the pool area fantastic for our Grandchildren who loved the whole experience.
We would go back on a cruise with MSC but at a different time of year (outside school holidays).
