The main areas of the ship were very good, well presented, clean and tidy.
Our cabin was small but comfortable, as was the bathroom but well looked after.
The food was first class as was the service in the restaurant most of the time.
One draw back was the constant fight to get butter on the table for bread.
A few areas where we were disappointed.
sometimes had a long wait to even see a waiter for drinks or coffee, let alone get served.
It seemed that what bar staff they had were busy on table orders so a wait at the bars of 20 minutes was normal.
Have noticed that now tips not paid the service has definitely gone down.
Personally would sooner give tips, it encourages better service.
This was not our first cruise, but the first time with MSC and it’s the small things like good service that count.
Can’t say I would recommend MSC to a friend.
Would I use them again? Not without a hefty discount!
