Joined msc for the 1st time and was pleasantly surprised!! flights from t5 were on time and not full so space to spread out for all,even for a short flight it was entertaining to say the least transferred to Genoa to join the ship, checking in was smooth, very quick and easy.
The ship was very impressive, plenty of open spaces, facilities and at no time for a large ship did it seem crowded.
The 2 tier theatre is very modern seats were comfortable and the view excellent, the bars were different from others experienced on other brands but not in a bad way.The sports bar was particularly good with sport on permanently and a 2 lane bowling alley, coupled this with the formula 1 car simulator and a great ship for the sport enthusiast.
The spa was probably one of the best I have seen at sea and the treatment prices similar to those of other lines.
Food was good with the added italian option of having an authentic pizza delivered to your cabin from the take out menu provided.
My only gripe would be at breakfast not being able to self serve tea,juice & coffee this could have been me missing the station but I never found it in 2 days.
The disco was busy both nights as sometimes onboard this can be very quiet, the bar staff were polite and helpful, Pool areas were not as busy as normal but this was due more to the time of year, however the covered pool and spas were well used.
Disembarking was straight forward and well organized.
