The ship and the staff were great but there were issues.

On arrival at the cabin the patio door was faulty and would not close.

So the first night windy and noisy.

The door was repair on the second day, very promptly and all was OK.

The door was left open upon arrival and it wasn’t until we tried to close it at bedtime did we realise that it would not shut.

Other issues were with the main restaurant’s, where the food was not great and service was slow.

The food in the buffet always seemed better but it was always busy, difficultly finding a table and queues.

On port day we found it quicker and better for us to go ashore and find a local breakfast.

On sea days the ship operated a ‘ brunch’ meal service and there were long queues for this, with a poor meal at the end of it.

All the staff great, apart from security, who I felt were a little over the top and unfriendly.

The resident entertainers were great.

Dirty Dancing was outstanding.

However, some of the guest artists were disappointing.

The ship is supposed to be ECO friendly but we appear to have traveled backwards and forwards across the Bay of Biscay burning fuel when we could have probably spent more time in port and reduced pollution.

We had a good time but not a great one.

The ship itself was lovely.
