Embarked Mauritius, queued for nearly 4 hours in sun before finally getting on board.
No crowd controls in place and nobody from cruise line visible.
Cabin (balcony) clean but tired.
Food, poor quality ingredients and served mostly lukewarm.
Used buffet for lunch and breakfast little choice of fresh fruit, salads etc.
MDR, tried steak one night, tough, again small choice, menu didn’t change much.
Cagneys, extra cost was good.
Reported a rattle in our cabin, no action.
Ports missed, Mozambique and one in Madagascar.
Richard’s Bay in South Africa we docked in a coal yard and judged unsafe to disembark due to airborne coal dust.
Ship was covered in black dust.
Arrived in Cape Town and docked over a mile from terminal when disembarkation was total chaos with luggage dumped on quayside.
Everything about this cruise was cheap except the price.
Hardly saw our cabin attendant, no turndown service.
Base on this we would not use Norwegian or sister companies, Regent and Oceania.
Just wanted cruise to end.
