Poor little Arcadia, how shabby she looks! We had previously cruised on Arcadia, so knew that she was/is not the most stylish ship, but she is very welcoming.
She is due for a re-fit at the end of 2013, and she desperately needs it.
The outside areas need painting, the plumbing is constantly breaking down, health and safety do not seem to be hugely important.
Whilst I was in the thermal spa area, a lady cut her foot on the ceramic tiles in the shower.
No-one came to check the area or sealed it off.
It was just left as it was.
The saving grace for Arcadia is the food and the staff (with the exception of the casino staff) The food is very good and the restaurant staff go out of their way to accommodate you.
We would go on this ship again, but not until she has had her re-fit.
