There was plenty to enjoy, but some flaws too

Whole cruise was at a tedious pace and I doubt we averaged 12 kts.

came most of the way back at 11 kts then reduced to 9 kts.

All part of P&O cost cutting measures.

Very disappointing activities on sea days ( 6 out of 11) with many thinly disguised sales pitches.

The Spa offers so many “medical” treatments that i wonder how long it will be before they offer hip replacements.

Just the one speaker with the same subject for 6 days – Concorde but of course this one really did know the answer – or so he claimed.

Must do better on sea days where there is no prospect of warmth or sun.

Evening entertainment in Palladium mostly good but I did not like the violinist ( he could play but was overly pretentious) and I thought he was a very poor choice to bring back for a second go – this one on the final night.

Had a great table for eight in club dining second sitting.

Pity the food and service often did not match the quality of the companionship.

Didn’t like plated meals.

Certainly didn’t like soup which was regularly sloshed all over.

Some great meals though, the odd bad one.

Overall a continued downward trend for P&O.

Will we do P&O again – well certainly not at early booking select prices
