Our arrival at the cruise terminal was the start, we had to collect a trolley and remove our cases ourselves, no help was given unlike in the past, we then had to find the correct station to unload our cases this was not signed posted.
We then entered the building to book in only to find we had not been sent a boarding pass, more delays.
Slowly our luggage arrives at our cabin on piece at a time, the last suit case was lost due to the fact that the silly paper labels were had attached to it was torn off I the had to go and find my missing case.
The ship was looking very tired and was in need of a revamp.
We had spent nearly six hours getting to Southampton and was therefore looking forward to our first meal in the dining room, the meal was not upto the usual standards and very small potions in fact we later went to the buffet for something else to eat, lots of small cutbacks on the general service.
One of the trips was that badly organised we got a partial refund another one was cancelled altogether because the ship could not dock, we then became ill only to find that we had contact Covid and we had to isolate in our cabin, we partly blame this on the lack of testing and checking to see that people had tested before boarding the ship, when checking in there was no mention to you about Covid at all.
We later find that there had been quite a lot of people ill especially towards the end of the cruise, a lot of these we suspect had Covid but never reported it.
Needless to say this has put us off cruising especially with P&O.
