This ship is similar to the Ventura which we went to the West Indies on about 2 years ago.

Unfortunately the food in the main restaurants was not up to the same standards.

We were allocated into the Oriental Resturant, supposedly on a table for 6 but we were shown to a table for 2.

The wine we ordered was undrinkable, but to be fair this was replaced with a better quality one at a cost of €25.95.

The food was poor quality and was nowhere near as good as we had experienced on the Ventura.

We therefore decided to try the Epicurean Restaurant and we have to report that this was a vast improvement .

It matched the quality experienced on the Ventura but of course this cost us an extra €56 to €82 per meal as we did not return to the Oriental.

The staff were all very friendly and efficient, the ship was clean and our Cabin was looked after extremely well.

The Fjords are a fascinating experience but don’t forget that it can be quite cold up there, so take hat, scarf and gloves if you intend to go on a trip up into the mountains!!
