Azura is a lovely ship, spotlessly clean even though the carpets and upholstery are looking a little tired in some areas.
We were allocated a disabled (even though we are able bodied) restricted view outside cabin and it was brilliant, so much room !! Public areas were spotless as was our cabin.
The Planet Bar and The Glass house were great for pre dinner drinks or an alternative of Tapas instead of dinner.
We also went to the Sindhu Restuarant which was excellent, a varied menu and food was so tasty.
I had read previous reviews saying the ship was dirty and service was not up to standard, we did not find this at all, service and cleanliness were excellent in all areas.
Our only gripe on the trip was that on the 8th night out of a 14 night cruise All the bars ran out of Prosecco, I was not happy about this and find it appalling how a buyer can get the amount of drinks wrong when these ships have been going on the same trips for years, obviously consumption vary between cruises but not to the extend that all the Fizz has gone half way through a cruise.!! I also found you now have to ask if you would like Stilton as it isn’t offered on the normal cheese board at dinner, this isn’t a problem because we aren’t afraid to ask and always were obliged, but at no time was there a full Stilton brought to the table, most times the outside of the ring was complete with a mush in the middle that was served to us, not the standard it used to be at all.
Saying this, anything we asked for we got and nothing was too much trouble.
Would definitely go on Azura again, sail with P&O and have no hesitation in recommending them.
