The booking process with Bolsover was as smooth and positive as ever.
I will definitely use them again.
The staff onboard Brittania were lovely, however the ship was in need of a lot of attention! We were without a toilet in our cabin for 6 hours one afternoon/ night and given no option but to go two decks up to the public toilets (most of which were out of order).
Eventually the plumber got ours working at 11.40pm but with two children it was embarrassing and unacceptable.
He said there was a problem all along our deck and had been for a while.
There was no apology…
The ships decor looks tired.
The carpets were stained, as were the towels and bed sheets.
The beach towels were freyed and full of holes.
There were too many children onboard for the clubs and the teenagers that grouped in the stairwells and rode the lifts up and down were intimidating, loud and rude.
This is the first year ever that I haven’t booked onboard for our next cruise.
I doubt it will be with P&O as their standards have slipped dramatically and yet their prices are luxury level.
