Iona

This is the second cruise with P&O I have been on since cruising restarted and both times have been disappointed with them.

On the Iona you had to book for dinner and the theatre which was a chore as the service kept going down and there were always queues of people having to have the service reset on their phones.

The inside rooms were very small only one chair and had to sit on bed all the time, also there was no shaving point in the cabins and not told this before boarding by P&O.

The overall feel of the boat was more like a 3star hotel, the bars kept running out of drinks and the choices were limited in some of the bars.

Have seen better entertainment on previous cruises and could not get tv when in port which was not ideal for some of the elderly who stayed on board.

The standard needs to be bettered or people will try other cruise companies that seem to have improved their service to try and get passengers back on board.

P&O seem to be relying on customers loyalty without improving standards or even reaching previous standards before covid.
