Mainly, the standards were OK. Restaurant staff and the cabin steward were excellent. But alas, that couldn’t be said about many of the bar waiting staff, particularly in the Tamarind Bar. We at times waited as much as 10 minutes to be even noticed. The bar waiters were almost casual and aloof at times. In fact, the only bar with the excellent service that my late wife and I are accustomed to over the last twenty-odd years was The Exchange, but even that was often cold and always quiz-bound.
