We cruised to Madeira and the Canary island on the 5th November 2024.
We did the same cruise a year ago on the same ship and we were really disappointed with the drop in standards.
We chose to eat in the Bay Tree at the 6.30 sitting.
It is meant to be a wonderful experience and turned out to be rush, rush, rush to get us through our meal and out of the dining room.
There was no wine waiter so drinks turned up after our meal had been served.
Very disappointing .
We spoke to one of the men in charge of the dining room and said how disappointing the whole experience was and he explained that the waiters have more tables to wait on.
This is unacceptable.
Our waiters were so rushed it made us feel an inconvenience to them !
The theatre experience used to be enjoyable but the headliners have done the same shows for the last few years.
Can nobody write new shows! We had a comedian on one of the first nights who quite frankly was obscene.
If we could have moved we would have walked out.
It was advertised as comedy with singing.
It was only awful jokes and He finished with one song.
The Ventura is a family ship so this is unacceptable.
We had 2 very goods act.
The Bluejays and a girl who did a cover of Adele.
Both were excellent..
