Panama Canal Full Transit
Judith Wohlford | January 4, 2019 | Princess Cruises | Coral Princess
A great ship overall. Common areas in good order, but a few areas in cabin required attention, eg, hook missing on curtain, problem with door staying locked, stain on carpet. Plenty going on as far as organised activities, and good variety to suit everyone, but also lots of comfortable quiet areas to sit and read or look out to sea.
Itinerary good, though not able to dock in Nicaragua due to rough seas. Panama Canal was amazing and staff were well-informed on history etc. All areas of ship very comfortable and spacious.
Beds also very comfortable. Enjoyed visiting the ‘coffee shop’ most days where coffee was pretty good and better than in the restaurants, and wasn’t expensive either. Staff were enthusiastic and
well trained generally, especially waiters and entertainment staff. Food lacked flavour sometimes but was well-presented and menus were varied. I would certainly go with Princess again and really enjoyed the trip overall.
