2 Major Problems before you get to the ship

Bolsover service great. The Cruise, the crew, the food, the ship, the weather FANTASTIC. The problems?
FIRST never go on any holiday where the flight lands at Miami airport. We were there for AGES as despite the fact that this is a major airport, there were only a few Immigration Officers on duty. I estimated that the ‘snakelike’ queue was around 3/4 mile long and we all simply lost track of how long it took to enter America. The officials on duty were under severe pressure and many of them were not only frustrated but downright rude.
SECOND the transfer from the hotel to the ship was farcical. Five buses arrived to take passengers and luggage to the ship and were directed by cruise reps where to park. Two buses got jammed at the front entrance, one being ours and therefore the total delay was well over an hour. Is this the first time that this hotel and these reps have been used? Then we set off on the 45minute journey to the pier.
When we got to the ship terminal we were LOCKED yes LOCKED in the bus until all the luggage was offloaded. This took nearly an hour due to the fact that the staff employed were not up to the job as their average age looked like 90. I am a senior citizen myself and frankly I couldn’t believe that elderly people were being paid to do this job. Why were we locked in the bus given that we were not collecting our luggage at this point as it was going straight to our Cabins. Does Princess consider locking 60 people in a bus correct? Have written to them but as yet no response! So having had breakfast at 7am we actually got on the ship at 3pm. No food for 7 hours. Maybe Bolsover can get some sense from Princess as to why all these delays occurred, but it did not make the start of our holiday an event to remember. No sireee.
