GOOD ITINERARY
David Asquith | March 9, 2018 | Princess Cruises | Emerald Princess
The itinerary for this South American cruise was very good. Visiting Chile, Falkland Islands, Uruguay and Argentina. We were lucky the weather was good so we could tender into Stanley (not all cruise ships can). The scenery was excellent. The service and the food on board was very good. My biggest complaint was the selection of wines at dinner. On the fifth night of the cruise they had run out of Chilean Merlot, and two brands of Argentine Malbec. By the end of the cruise, the list had grown to at least 20 types of wine. Even two days before the end of the cruise at breakfast they had run out of orange juice in the restaurant. Very poor. The trips from the ship were ok but very expensive for what they offered.
