Not good enough Princess

The ports of call on this 7 day cruise around the Bay of Biscay were all new to me, La Coruna, Bilbao, Bordeaux and Guernsey. Overall I enjoyed the cruise much more than I expected. I do however have a number of issues firstly with the ship and secondly with the free transport provided by Princess.
I am an ‘Elite’ Princess passenger and can only say that the Production Shows on this ship were undoubtedly the poorest I have experienced on Princess or on any of the 30 or so cruises I have enjoyed over the past 20 years. To make matters worse my personal letter to the cruise director was completely ignored and I received neither a response nor even an acknowledgement.
As far as the transport was concerned we took a party of 19 (17 from Woodall Services) with ages ranging from 94 to mid 60s. There were no facilities on the coach either to or from Southampton and with more than 2 hours between stops and on the return trip 3 hours we had some uncomfortable people on the coach so much so that one of our group dare not even have a drink on board the ship prior to getting on the coach. A poor show from Intercruises to whom we have written and await a response.
With 2 further Princess cruises booked for 2014 I can only hope that there is a vast improvement in the coming months
