Comfortable & enjoyable cruise.

I like Princess Cruises, but hadn’t been on Regal Princess before. The ship is lovely and the cabin (balcony in our case) very comfortable. Food excellent and it was good to try the Alfredo Restaurant for a good pizza and tiramisu. This is included in your fare (no extra payments). The crew were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The entertainment was OK, but I felt it had been reduced somewhat to reflect the reduced passengers onboard (approx. 50%). It was still good, but not totally for my liking. My main disappointment was the disco. Whilst there were plenty using it late on, the use of a Juke Box like selection machine meant inappropriate songs were played for a disco. When the DJ did take over his choice from night to night was limited! The Lido deck fountains at night were very good and something I had not seen onboard a ship before. The weather was not conducent to sunbathing, but facilities were available in sufficient numbers. An exercise track on the top deck was good 7 laps being 1 mile, also a good sports court. Plenty of room in gym. Well stocked. The Medallion worked quite well, but it was easier to order drinks form the waiter.
