Autumn break on Sapphire Princess
Mike and Hilda May | October 15, 2018 | Princess Cruises | Sapphire Princess
We left Southamton with gale force winds but by the time we arrived at our first port of call Vigo the sun was shining and the temperature was 27c which we had for the next 12 days.
With over 2,500 passengers at times everyone seemed to want to go to the most popular entertainment, you had to arrive early and sit around for ages, so we missed quite a lot, what we did see was very good, you also had to pick your time to go to the Horizon self-service because of finding a seat, the food and service was very good both in Horizon and Savoy dining room. Our cabin steward Ronald keep our state room immaculate and clean when we did see him he always had a smile. The other downside to this cruise was the 16$ per person for transport into Lisbon as the ship docked 5 kilometres out of Lisbon. Yes, we would go again.
Thanks to Bolsover who have looked after us for many years.
