Med cruise 12th May 2018
Geoffrey Randle | April 6, 2018 | Princess Cruises | Sapphire Princess
Our first Princess Cruise for eleven years. Embarkation in Southampton one of the smoothest we have experienced. Found the ship very clean and well presented, although there seemed to be a smell of sewage around areas of the ship. Staff were extremely friendly and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Cabin steward (Randy) attentive and cabin kept in good order. Menu in MDR seemed limited although food was well cooked and presented. Having a separate dessert area in Horizon court reduced congestion in main area we have experienced on other ships, staff also very efficient in serving tea, coffee etc. and clearing the tables. Missed having tea and coffee facilities in stateroom provided by P & O. When we contacted front desk to report a problem we had in our stateroom was sorted out very quickly.
