Norwegan Fiords on Sky Princess

It was cold and I should have taken more warm clothing. Cruising the fiords was good, still lots of snow and a strong cold wind. Not my first experience of fiords, I have cruised in the South Island of New Zealand and Alaska. The ports of call were not up to much, one stop had about 25 houses, no shop, no people, another stop had about 50 homes but there was a souvenir shop selling, amongst other things reindeer hides. Don’t worry about currency, you can pay contactless with your Debit card, even for a cup of coffee. To get the best out of this cruise you would need to take some shore excursions, but as a solo travelller I do not. A friend who had done this cruise said that of all the cruises she had done this was the most boring. I would not quite go that far. Comfort, well ok, but several nights loud bangs in the middle of the night, I was on deck 17. Service, well ok but with guests ordering drinks on the Medalion App, 20 minutes to get a drink was not unusual. Guests all around the ship with their mobile phones in hand, is this what cruising has become. Did I like the theater production shows, no. Noisey black and white, I have seen a lot better from Princess, and I am an Elite guest. I have one more Princess cruise booked and then I will look for another cruise line. If you were to ask we what I really wanted I would say “give me a cruise card”
