October Canaries Cruise

Pre cruise we had ongoing issues with the app, leading to one of the US IT team trying to sort it . The only way to sort it was to move all details to our second and older I phone .
Boarding was excellent with no issues .
The Sky was as per our last cruise as beautiful as ever .
Staffing levels were, we felt, lower than normal? however everyone we came in contact with were excellent .
Food in the speciality restaurants was superb, especially in the Crown Grill and sushi bar, which is more than could be said for the Cielo restaurant, which was the poorest we have come across on our Princess cruises .
We were in a mini suite which was great and serviced brilliantly by our steward .
A minor gripe was that the sun deck always seemed in a mess, so we moved to the retreat area which was never full.
Excursions were poor in Madeira and Gran Canaria for all sorts of reasons and we still don,t know why Vigo is considered a stopping city .
There are better Princess cruises to go on and it’s a pity this one only scored 3 stars from us .
