our first cruise since covid started.

We thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. Only 30% passengers, which meant that there was an equal number of crew. We felt quite safe about covid. for example, only 4 people were to use the lifts (instead of the normal 20). The dining rooms and buffet were very civilised and extremely well organised. The food, of course was delicious. Staff had time to chat, which was nice.
The only downside for us, was using the medallion app. My husband’s phone (all of 4 years old), just wouldn’t work with it and mine (only 2 years old) was rather scratchy. We found it very difficult to use and very time consuming. however when we arrived at the port, staff there were most helpful and efficient and sorted us out. We didn’t use the app when on board but apparently it worked wonders, just not for us. It might put us off using princess next time.
