Sky Princess

We went on a 4 day cruise to nowhere, in fact we went to the Bay of Biscay and back! Getting on board was well organised although we were the first group to board so later boarders could have a different story. It was 2/3 full so not cramped. Everything on board was as expected, cabin steward friendly, polite and efficient.
We found it less formal as other cruise lines particularly in the dining room. The staff were laughing and joking a lot which was fine. It was a more American feel than I had expected, everything in dollars and the shops were expensive, a teddy 25 dollars, cheaper in Harrods! While we were away it was in the press another company was taking over the shops for all Princess cruises.
One thing which didn’t bother me particularly but I would think some may not be happy about was our names were on the display outside our cabins throughout the cruise.
Entertainment was really good except the comedian who we had seen on previous cruises and his routine was the same and a bit poor. The show we saw was really good, singers and dancers excellent.
Overall we would go again with Princess if the itinerary was what we wanted. This was our 18th cruise and first since covid so was a tester for us. Overall I would say 8/10 but could easily have been more.
