No complaints about the ship, however our pre cruise stop at Rio De Janeiro spoilt the whole holiday.

The Rio Sheraton hotel was terrible.

It was in a state of refurbishment prior to the World cup.

1) The air conditioning in our room dripped condensation onto the floor.

2) We had no hot water for two days.

When it was eventually fixed we got barely warm water.

3)The room Iron didn’t work.

Had to be replaced 4) The room hairdryer had no suitable connector.

A different connector had to be found.

5) There was no bar in the hotel only a small temporary bar placed in the dining room 6) We signed up for two tours at $129 a head.

One was supposed to be “highlights of Rio plus Sugar loaf mountain.” The highlights were a direct journey to the mountain – absolute rip off for the money The other journey to “Christ the redeemer” was also $129 a head.

Again more or less straight to the spot which took about 25 minutes – another rip off.

I shall be complaining to Regent about this but I would hope as my tour organiser you will do the same on my behalf.
