We had a lovely trip.
This was our third Regent Cruise and each one has been on a different ship.
This time it was Navigator.
Navigator is the oldest of the fleet and also the smallest.
I wasn’t sure about this but it is still a lovely ship and its smaller size meant that we didn’t have to walk so far to get anywhere! (It is however being retired sometime in 2026).
There were less speciality restaurants to choose from – namely only Prime 7 – but the food is so good in Compass Rose that this wasn’t a problem.
We booked Prime 7 for our last night which was also my husband’s birthday and we got cake and a candle.
The enjoyed all the excursions we took and also the evening entertainment that we attended.
My favourite is always Krew Kapers where the staff have a chance to show their talents which are always very good.
I should also mention the lounge pianist who we enjoyed.
I have mentioned the quality of the food but should give a special mention to the chef and kitchen staff who put on an amazing Easter egg display.
As ever, it is the crew who have the ability to make a cruise outstanding and they didn’t disappoint.
Nothing was too much trouble and even when they were very busy they always provided service with a smile.
