First time (and likely the last) on Regent. Comparing it to Cunard Queens Grill here.

Good things:

Small ship with efficient embarking and disembarkation process.

Free tours although sometimes the descriptions were misleading.

Food pretty good.

The public areas were always clean and tidy.

Interesting ports.

Not so good:

Do not take a mid ships cabin as you end up over the engines which are permanently operating – noise and some vibration

Prime 7, one of the speciality restaurants is crowded and the food is average (Chatreuse the other one is very good)

Shuttle bus services when provided are a bit minimal.

The service in the main dining room, Compass Rose, was very slow (waiters having to apologise which they should not have to) until I noted this on a questionaire during the cruise than they were all over us!

With the exception of drinks waiters of which there were many, the staff appear to be over worked
