Lovely short cruise, our reason for going was for the Tulips at Keurkenhoff.
They were superb, seen them before, this time was later in the limited opening period.
P&O seem to be back to pre Covid levels, some earlier worries over cutbacks have been dealt with, as has a refit on Britannia, the Atrium has more going on and the lifts are not a problem.
Food was fine, we didnt bother with speciality restaurants for this short cruise and MDR freedom worked fine, as did breakfast in MDR, a table for two was never an issue.
Staff are what you make of them, we enjoyed superb service and friendliness and kept our same table and waiters for the cruise.
Portions were fine and no problem at all as and when we asked for some more of anything.
Some cruisers (the moaners) really do not open their eyes to what is available, be it menus, buffet choices, how to use the App etc.
Prices in shops inc Duty Free are no longer competitive with the High St/on-line.
I suspect not P&Os call it will be the Franchisee (sp?).
Cabin was excellent (we didnt bother with a suite on this short north europe cruise, but our Balcony (massive) cabin was great, would qualify as a suite on some lines.
Embarkation/dissembark’ all fine took less than 30 minutes in each case.
We’ve never had any serious issues with P&O.
Roll on the next one, its not far away.
