We love this ship.
The reasons being that they offer evening band for a bit of dancing, table tennis and deck quoits.
Since Covid there have been changes.
We miss not having a regular band who changed their songs according to the audience response and were capable of taking requests.
The Pulse musicians (a package band) were all talented but not achieving their goal – that is having the audience on the dance floor as they constantly encouraged.
They are limited to songs sent from head office who have no idea what the audience want on the night.
On both cruises the floor was only close to being filled one night for one song.
It was a rock and roll song which you’d imagine another would follow.
No and the floor emptied and not another R&R or similar again.
Very disappointing.
Thank goodness for the Aurora orchestra as they are phenomenal.
So talented.
Also, the Aurora Trio are wonderful.
The cabin was very clean and comfortable.
The attendants are all fantastic.
Actually, that goes for all the crew aboard the ship.
All polite, courteous and helpful.
The food is delicious.
Someone mentioned that some look great but have little taste.
We rarely found this and put it down to a poor choice.
The entertainment staff are fantastic running around the ship taking activities and quizzes day and night.
They were one or two staff short I think but they always had a smile and a sense of humour.
