A difficult cruise with bad weather on delayed departure and across Biscay..
Several necessary port changes ensued.
Worst was an outbreak of Novovirous after a week which meant no self service in buffet which slowed things down a lot.
We enjoyed ourselves nevertheless.
The ship seemed short of crew members for one reason or another which in our opinion led to to a slightly sullen attitude at times presumably due to overwork.
The theatre entertainment was very good and did not include for the most part all the intrusive flashing lights and over amplified sound which seems the norm in the newer bigger ships.
Inspire all the problems we thought the captain did a great job and maintained a good sense of humour throughout, as didn’the cruise entertainment manager.
The stage group of young singers and dancers were outstanding.
