Sailed from Southampton on the Brittania down the Atlantic coast of France and Spain.
Car parking at CPS smooth and efficient.
Embarkation not so good.
Big queues at check in.
P&O didn’t use the seats for people to wait, they just had everyone stood up in a long queue instead.
Not as civilised and some people were struggling with the amount of time they had to stand.
Disabled people had assisted boarding but mot so good for elderly or people with slight disabilities.
Once on board all was well, we had freedom dining and once we got used to the app everything worked well.
The food in the MDR and buffet was good.
Drink selection was very hit and miss.
Some nights they said they didn’t have the wine we wanted but when we said they had it the previous night they then found they did have it.
Found was a very much take it or leave it attitude.
Standards certainly slipped quite a bit.
No turn down service now and the staff seem more stressed.
Cabin was fine.
Had an obstructed balcony but could still see over the lifeboat when you were stood up.
Ports of call Gijon, La Coruna (late change for Santander) Vigo and Cherbourg which were all pleasant for a wander round.
We didn’t do any trips.
