It had strengths, but the dining fell short

The ship’s facilities aren’t adequate for the number of people on board.

On sea days, unless you got up at 7am to grab a lounger, you struggled to find somewhere to sit.

The pools are tiny; the main bar isn’t big enough for the number of guests particularly on quiz nights; and the buffet area and seating are too small for the number of people using it.

We had no problem getting a table for dining but the choice of food was woeful.

It was a Mediterranean cruise but that was not reflected in the menu choice which was uninspiring and disappointing.

On a couple of occasions the wine we wanted wasn’t available and several of the items on the breakfast menu were never available.

I can’t fault the crew who were friendly and helpful but we got the overall feeling P&O were trying to cut corners and the comfort, service and choice that we had on pre-Covid cruises was missing.
