We had a good time but we found that the entertainment was not as good as the last time we were on the Arcadia. We also had a problem with the Black Tie nights as my husband by mistake left his suit behind. The problems were that most restaurants and bars only let the black tie people in. The restaurants I can understand but not bars that don’t serve food. We went into the crows nest bar and they refused to serve us . We were dressed smartly but not with a black tie suit. I think that this was a bit too much, as we paid the same price as everybody else.
Also we went on a tour of Athens (supposedly) but we were dumped at the bottom of the Parthenon for 2 1/2 hours and not taken anywhere else. I did complain and they gave us a cheap bottle of p and o wine. Also when we arrived in Heraklion we wanted to go to the shopping area which they said was a 10 to 15 minutes walk. We never got there as it was approximately 45 to 60 minutes especially for the older cruisers. P and O should have had a shuttle bus from the ship to the shops.
