We retirees sailed from Southampton to ports in Spain & France. Arvia is HUGE, very modern lovely decor and very clean. Excellent for us wheelchair users with touch free electric doors throughout. Best enabled cabin too. Did miss the evening visit from the Cabin Steward…no beds turned down or chocolate on the pillow. The launderette facilities were well used. Can get busy at times. Could do with a few bigger lifts to accommodate the scooters etc…as 19 decks we rarely saw anyone using the stairs. The entertainment was good at times. The food was generally good quality with plenty of choice. Disappointed with the ‘formal’ nights…poor menu. We missed the traditional Captain and Crew introductions from other cruises. We needed to pre book virtually every event and dinning room prior to the cruise to ensure you get your choice. As this was our first voyage on Arvia we would have preferred to checkout the restaurants in person before booking. Many young and older families onboard. Felt a bit like Center Parcs on Sea at times.
