Just back from our 2 weeks Caribbean cruise on board Britannia.
From the start the staff were lovely, they couldn’t do enough for you.
Our cabin was deck 11 no 210 the steward was good kept our room clean and was very helpful.
The food was lovely just like home.
But to be honest, P&O let them self’s down a member of our party had a call to say her only brother had died, my friend needed to get home to look after her aged father who has I’ll health himself.
The staff were so unhelpful, they wouldn’t help to book a flight, we were told at reception it’s her problem she will have to deal with it herself.
I explained she was trying but we were finding it difficult to try and book a flight on our phone, the internet was so slow it wouldn’t do it.
I asked if there any computer we could use to book the flights, the response was no it’s not our problem.
This is not what we would expect from P&O you cater for a lot of people that are elderly, or disabled, there are alot of people that cannot do anything that is technical, luckily our friend rang home and got her son to help.
But alot of people don’t have family to help.
In our opinion, P&O need to provide some kind of help desk to help in times of trouble and be able to advise their guests, not say it’s not our problem.
This spoilt what was a beautiful holiday.
