Whilst the ship is old, it is easy to get around and far more accessible than the newer ships, with 4000 ish passengers.
The entertainment was excellent, particularly the Headliners Theatre Team, whose performances were of the highest standard throughout.
We were unfortunate to get an 8:30 dining slot, in the standard restaurant and only used this once.
Whilst the service was good, the actual food served was mediocre.
That said, on sea days, the lunches served, were to a good standard.
We dined at the Glass House, Sindhu and Beechhouse, all of which required a surcharge and the food in all three places was very good, with the service in the Glass House being exceptional.
P&O should be aiming to get the standard dining experience, back to these high standards.
They are clearly skimping on standard dining, to force you into paying in the three venues listed.
All destinations on this cruise were interesting and all worth a visit, particularly Visby, which was excellent.
