This was our third cruise with Princess and sadly not as good as the previous two.
The main issue is the entertainment.
With the exception of Chris Watkins (a must see) the Beatles tribute band and the final night Royal Variety Show, the rest is wasn’t great.
Daytime entertainment such as knitters and knatters club, Bible reading, line dancing and constant quizzes is not the norm for an English/European guest.
The cruise director received lots of complaints and said it was an experiment as the American guests don’t like our type of entertainment.
Well, that answer does not impress at all.
Sorry Princess but you have to cater for your target guest which when basing the ship at Southampton for the summer is a European audience, not a handful of Americans.
The rest of the holiday was great.
Lovely staff and brilliant food.
The medallion app is first class.
