From the moment we embarked the ship, everything was great.
The cabin we chose was spotlessly clean and very well laid out (C316).
Our cabin steward (Jason) was so friendly and helpful.
Our first time on Azura and we thought she was really lovely.
Food lovely and well presented.
Lots of entertainment venues and a choice of relaxing places to sit and chill.
Some speciality restaurants were closed due to staff shortages but the MDR, buffet, pool grill, pizza counter we’re all open so it wasn’t a problem for us and we booked The Beach House for a couple of nights.
Enjoyed the theatre shows too.
There was a lovely atmosphere onboard and the crew were very friendly.
Any downside? ….
We don’t drink much but did find the drinks quite expensive (drink package wouldn’t suit us).
Considering that we are coming out of a two year nightmare pandemic, I congratulate P&O, yes there are changes, staff shortages, some previous services unavailable but taking everything into account, I really think the service was exceptional for the circumstances, and people need to make allowances! We liked it so much that we’ve booked another two cruises on Azura and would certainly recommend this ship.
