An expensive lesson.
Cunard does not deliver the excellent service it’s promotional literature suggests.
Embarkation at Singapore can only be described as chaotic.
Very poor organisation led to reduced time in port.
On one occasion we lost half a day (only 2 tenders in use); on at least 2 others disembarkation was 2 hours late which meant our independent exploration was severely curtailed.
Poor customer service from shore excursions team and pursers desk where good manners and empathy were lacking.
Cunard should not assume every passenger has a smart phone, or can use one to obtain an essential visa (Phillippines) once the cruise has commenced.
Hot food in the MDR was sadly lacking.
Generally not good enough in any area except our Room Steward who was excellent.
We usually cruise on P&Os Aurora where we’ve always had good service, food and wonderful times.
