excellent weather …
and whilst the ship is aging, it is very characterful and was kept very clean and tidy.
Plenty to do and to see, whatever your interests / preferences.
Suite attendant German, our suite attendant, was diligent and friendly.
He made us feel very welcome and maintained our cabin like a ‘home from home.’ 10/10 My Time Dining Domnick and his team, especially the waiters assigned to our table, Ida and Nigel, were very attentive and made us feel like we had the best dining table in the restaurant! Excellent menu including daily ‘specials’ and regular choices.
10/10 Viking Lounge Bar tenders Ray and IGede, were always polite and welcoming, and knew how to mix a cocktail.
10/10 Windjammer The Windjammer team provided exceptional customer service in a relaxed and comfortable dining environment.
Varied buffet with plenty of choice and daily themes / specials.
10/10 Diamond club lounge The Diamond club team reminded us why we put our loyalty in cruising with RCI.
10/10 The only downside …
The day we returned home we all (three of us) tested positive for C19.
Not sure how or where we picked up C19 but suspect during a coach trip / excursion.
We experienced relatively mild symptoms and are now all clear.
The virus is out there and didn’t get in the way of an otherwise enjoyable cruise.
Moreover, we’ve already booked our next cruise.
Lastly, great service from the Bolsover team!
