Our recent trip on the Saga ship Spirit of Adventure was excellent at all levels.
The vessel itself was fairly new but nevertheless was kept spotless clean and tidy.
The latest stabilising equipment that was fitted certainly enabled us to cope with 48 hours of force seven winds and the resultant seas on our journey from Portsmouth to Lisbon without having a large number of sea sick passengers.
While the crew and general staff on board was made up of about 20 different nationalities, they all appeared to work together extremely well.
The result was quite evident in their very positive interface with the passengers.
The accommodation on board was of the highest standard that we had ever experienced throughout over 20 years of cruising out of the UK.
Finally, the food and general catering standard was absolutely second to none.
In fact, it could be compared to a top class city hotel.
We would certainly want to arrange another cruise with Saga on the basis of our recent experience as detailed here.
